Book “Aka – child drawings” of R. Ćirić

Dear all, you can browse through a part of the book here, read the resume and a brief biography of Rastko Ćirić, find all information related to payment methods and delivery, in Serbia and abroad likewise.

About the book "AKA"

The selection of ten pages before you represents the book AKA – CHILD DRAWINGS, which on 108 pages contains a collection of selected child works of RASTKO ĆIRIĆ from birth to the end of elementary school. This book represents in detail an earliest developed segment of the book SVASTARA (2005). Layout is the same, and the author’s comments are bilingual, in Serbian and English.

The book emerged after an exhibition held on March, 2016 at the Children’s Cultural Center in Belgrade, upon the invitation of curator Lidija Seničar.

This book exists thanks to Rastko’s parents, who not only saved the drawings, but they gave a title and date to each drawing. At the end of the book, there is a short illustrated biography of the father Miloš (professor of graphic design), mother Ida (illustrator for children), younger brother Vuk (professor of new media), Rastko and his two daughters Iva and Manja who are also engaged in art. Ah, yes, AKA means – RASTKO, since he, as a small child, could not pronounce his complicated name.
